Gareth Howells

Gareth has two distinct roles, being the Deputy Director of Nursing at North Bristol NHS Trust and the Board Level Nurse for Birmingham South Central CCG.

After qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 1988, Gareth has held a variety of Senior clinical, and managerial posts, and spent three years as the Director of Nursing at NHS Direct Wales as well as 6 years managing two large Medicine, Elderly Care and Community Services Divisions.

In 2009, Gareth graduated with a Master of Arts in Healthcare Law and Ethics and holds a specialist interest in the legal and ethical aspects of care.
