Education and Training in Patient Safety

Education and training have a crucial role in giving staff the skills and knowledge to deliver safe care and to embed safety within an organisation. This category focuses on the use of education and training to improve patient safety. Entries will include examples of specific training initiatives designed to raise awareness of and improve patient safety. These could include face-to-face courses or seminars, on-line training initiatives or work-based learning programmes.
